“We do not find the meaning of life by ourselves alone–we find it with another.” –Thomas Merton
We were not created to do this life alone. We need soul companions and spiritual guides to help navigate the big questions and listen with us as we discern both our daily circumstances and our life purpose. Spiritual Direction is a centuries-old practice of holding space, bearing witness, and looking for truth and beauty as we reflect on our lives and the Holy’s prompting in them.
Whether you are asking questions of curiosity and wonder, in a season of sorrow and the “middle space” of waiting, or in need of cultivating compassion for yourself in the ways you are compassionate towards others, Spiritual Direction may be a safe place for you to rest. Allow me to champion you as you are called to places of risk and joy, and may our times midwife God’s goodness and love in your life and in your heart, believing that you are capable and made for nurturing new life. I look forward to our times in Spiritual Direction, as we together create space for the Holy.
“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” –Mary Oliver
